Lexington Invoice Factoring

Located in the heart of Kentucky's Bluegrass region, the community of Lexington was originally founded in June 1775 in what was then Virginia, long before Kentucky became a state in 1792. A man named William McConnell camped on the Middle Fork of Elkhorn Creek, which is now called Town Branch -- today known as McConnell Springs. When they heard of the colonists' victory in the Battles of Lexington and Concord, on April 19, 1775, they named their campsite Lexington after Lexington, Massachusetts. Fort Harrod and a blockhouse, cabins and a stockade were soon built, making the fort, known as Bryan Station, a place of historical importance. Lexington was established on May 6, 1782.

Lexington was one of the largest and wealthiest towns west of the Allegheny Mountains by 1882, and was called the "Athens of the West" due to the cultured lifestyle -- a community ripe for factoring. During the 19th-century many of America's most prominent people lived in Lexington, including President Abraham Lincoln, and Confederate President Jefferson Davis. Today, Lexington is the second-largest city in Kentucky famous as the "Thoroughbred City" and the "Horse Capital of the World."

In the 2010 Census the city's population was 295,803, with a metropolitan area of 472,099 people and a Combined Statistical Area of 687,173 people. Lexington is considered one of the nation's most stable economies with an abundance of government jobs. The community also has what analysts call a fortified economy that is strong in technology and manufacturing, requiring support from small to medium-sized entrepreneurial businesses, many of which currently use factoring services to thrive and grow.

Three Fortune 500 companies located within the city, Affiliated Computer Services, Lexmark International and Hewlett Packard, employing 1,200, 3,450, and 250 respectively.[27] United Parcel Service, Trane, Tempur-Pedic, International and Amazon.com, Inc. have a large presence in the city, and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky is within the Lexington CSA in adjoining Georgetown. The city is also host to a Jif peanut butter plant that produces more peanut butter than any other factory in the world,[28] and to the Forcht Group of Kentucky, a holding company that employs more than 2,100 people across Kentucky. Forcht Group operates several businesses in Lexington including First Corbin Bancorp, Kentucky National Insurance Company, My Favorite Things, BSC, a bank data services company, and First Lab, among others.

The University of Kentucky employs 10,668 and the city is home to several large corporations including:
